Tasting Notes

55% Whole-bunch naturally fermented Grenache Noir matured in old oak barrels for 10 months before bottling. Red berries (cherry and currant) along with rose, fynbos and white pepper on the nose while the palate has pure fruit, zippy acidity and nicely grippy tannins.

Viticulture

Grapes were sourced from two neighbouring farms on the Swart River road just outside of Botriver. The first pick was from a new block on a farm called Nabot and the second pick from the dryland bush vine block on the Anysbos farm.
